Hiroki Kamijou mourns his failed romance with Akihiko Usami in a park until Nowaki Kusama’s toy rocket interrupts him. After Nowaki reveals he is a foundling and demands Hiroki tutor him for high school exams, Akihiko visits, prompting Nowaki to confess his immediate love. Hiroki rejects him, yet finds himself unable to stop thinking about Nowaki. He spies on Nowaki from a cafe across from the flower shop where Nowaki works. Nowaki confronts him at Hiroki’s apartment, leading Hiroki to admit his growing feelings. They become intimate, and the episode concludes with both characters openly confessing their love for each other.
