Galactor targets Lawnpark City, deploying the Mecha Gezora, which escapes the God Phoenix via smoke. The Science Ninja Team investigates incognito, discarding bracelets due to suspected traps. Jun and Jinpei rescue a woman from criminals and enter a manor, where Jinpei is drugged. Jun feigns sleep, observing the hostess, who orders their execution upon discovering Jun is a police officer. Both are imprisoned underground. Ken and the others worry when the pair fail to arrive, splitting up again. Meanwhile, Gezora attacks a chemical factory to lure the remaining team members into the open.
