A global water shortage intensifies as an invisible enemy destroys dams and tanks. The God Phoenix detects the flying mecha Kamisoral, whose sickle cuts missiles and causes massive damage. The Science Ninja Team escapes to report to Nambu, who receives a Katse announcement declaring tomorrow humanity's last day. Nambu predicts an attack on a nuclear power plant. Plans shift to creating a typhoon-sized artificial rain to exploit the mecha's weakness to turbulence and vacuum. The God Phoenix lures the mecha into the test area using a special filter. Caught by the sickle, the Phoenix fights hard inside the storm. Thunderstorm shock weakens the blade, allowing escape. The mecha is drawn into the typhoon's eye and explodes, ending the crisis.
