After Ryu's father's boat sinks, Ryu fails to report for duty due to distress, leading to house arrest. Ken and Jun secretly depart in the God Phoenix to search for the missing father. They locate him on an Amana island, where he unknowingly reveals that the Galactor mech's interior is exposed when its small planes detach. The team then targets a uranium store within the mech. Ryu executes a precise rocket strike during the plane detachment phase, successfully destroying the enemy machine and proving his capability despite earlier reprimands.
