Joe arrives late to Nambu after finishing a race, transforming en route and attracting the Megazainer. High-frequency waves strip his powers, forcing him to retreat while Dr. Misuno fears an explosion. The other four members enter a burnt subterranean city to investigate suspicious signals, falling into a Galactor trap. Joe reports the transformation-undoing weapon to Nambu, who fails to reach Ken. Ken is deceived by Katse’s disguise and struck by the Megazainer but is narrowly saved by Red Impulse members. Jun, Jinpei, and Ryu are captured for high-frequency exposure. Joe rescues them, prompting the Red Impulse commander to fire a rocket that reveals Ken’s true identity. Ken and his friends overload the Megazainer, causing it to explode. As Red Impulse pursues Katse, Joe tosses his cap to Ken, who stares at it in silence.
