Jinpei returns to the region after hearing the account, revealing that Galactor is manipulating the insects via a guiding radio signal. The swarm assaults Toda’s hut, prompting Jinpei to capture the lead mecha locust and identify the transmission frequency. Communication with Ken is blocked by interference, so Jinpei uses pesticide to spray a bird head shape in a meadow. This signal summons the God Phoenix, which joins Jinpei and Toda. Anticipating this, Katse accelerates his scheme by deploying mecha locusts toward global capitals. Ken utilizes the Phoenix to emit the same frequency, luring the swarms to the sea where they are destroyed by a rocket. Only Ken and his team recognize the crucial contribution of the overlooked scientist.
