With control mechanisms failing, the rocket threatens to crash on the Shaku peninsula, endangering 20,000 people. The Science Ninja Team searches for Nambu, a key developer who was abducted and imprisoned in a local atomic power plant. Katse traps the team with Nambu and escapes in a devil star disc plane, claiming the rocket will strike the facility. After narrowly escaping the plant, the team realizes the rocket's trajectory cannot be corrected. Nambu instructs them to destroy the vessel, but the crew has already severed contact. Joe launches a Bird Missile while God Phoenix infiltrates the enemy mecha unnoticed. Inside, Joe accuses Mekker of using poisonous gas to kill people. Mekker claims Galactor appreciated him while the world ignored him. Joe provokes Mekker to draw his weapon, but blinding light strikes again. Ken intervenes to save Joe. Katse’s voice emerges with gas, revealing Mekker’s manipulation. Ken and others escape with Mekker, destroying the base and mecha. Suspecting a helicopter at ISO headquarters, they board it to reach a base and retrieve a tape from Katse, only to find it already copied. They pursue a Devilstar disc into a swamp, where Galactor mobiles capture them. Joe, tracking his airgun’s transmitter, shoots their ropes and destroys the enemy vehicles.
