Ep. 7: Aoi Receives Orders to Profit or Marry While Cooking for a Masked Author

Byakuya commands Aoi to generate revenue or wed Odanna. Oryo tasks her with preparing meals for Hakkabou, a masked Nyuudou-bouzu author staying at Tenjin-ya. Aoi creates portable bentos after the author neglects to eat. Hakkabou reveals his stories feature Odanna as the hero and Shiro as the villain. Upon learning Aoi is Shiro’s granddaughter and Odanna’s fiancée, he departs to write. A mysterious girl leaves Aoi a colorful ball before disappearing, leading Ginji to suspect a Zashiki-warashi blessing. Hakkabou’s newspaper praise makes Moonflower highly popular. Consequently, Aoi is summoned to the Imperial Court to cook an anniversary meal for royal Nuinoin and his wife Ritsuko.
