Ep. 11: Aoi helps a Shiranui teacher and his former student reconcile after a past incident.
Hatori and Tokihiko are permitted to stay as guests at the Tenjin-ya. Aoi observes Tokihiko with Shizuna, who attacks him before fleeing with Aoi. Shizuna reveals Tokihiko was her master, teaching her bathhouse management. She loved him and attempted to help Orio-ya by locating a new hot spring, but accidentally disturbed a dangerous spirit. This incident left Tokihiko with a facial scar from which his blue flame power leaks, resulting in Shizuna’s dismissal. Aoi facilitates their reconciliation. Tokihiko asks Shizuna to leave with him, but she reacts with hostility. Ginji suspects Shizuna feels ashamed and guilty about scarring his face. Through Aoi’s subtle guidance, Shizuna and Tokihiko cook a meal together at Moonflower. They reconcile, with Shizuna promising to return to Orio-ya with Tokihiko in the future. Hatori is secretly impressed by Aoi’s shrewdness.
