Ep. 4: Aoi cares for Oryo while Suzuran defeats Akatsuki in a spider battle.

Kasuga notes that servants despise Oryo, leaving her isolated. Aoi tends to her by making Tofu ice-cream, which softens Oryo’s resentment. Oryo reveals her devotion to Odanna, who rescued her from abuse, prompting her ruthless rise to seniority. Meanwhile, Suzuran and Akatsuki fight as giant spiders, with Suzuran emerging victorious. Odanna explains that Shiro took in the homeless siblings forty years ago. Suzuran wishes to visit the human realm to remember him, despite Akatsuki’s objections. Aoi attempts to cook Odanna’s favorite meal, but he declines to share the recipe. She later finds a shrunken, injured Akatsuki outside. A happy Oryo requests Oyakodon, claiming Aoi’s cooking possesses spiritual energy beneficial for healing spiders, a fact unknown to Aoi.
