Ep. 8: Aoi shops for stew ingredients while suspecting Odanna and Ginji are her childhood Ayakashi.
Aired on May 21, 2018

Aoi worries about cooking for the royal couple and learns they dined at Western restaurants, prompting her to buy beef stew ingredients from the foreign delicacy market. She bribes Odanna with a bento to leave, receiving a protective ogre fire necklace. During the trip, lightning triggers her Astraphobia, causing her to cling to Odanna, which leads her to suspect he is her childhood Ayakashi. At the market, Ginji’s reaction to Western curry makes Aoi suspect he is also her childhood Ayakashi. Suddenly, an Ayakashi lures Aoi away, and she wakes up locked in a small room with her Tengu Fan missing. Her captors state they will release her only after the royal couple’s anniversary has passed.
