Ep. 2: Keima resolves Kusunoki's internal conflict between martial arts and femininity during a date.

Kusunoki feels embarrassed during her date with Keima but persists, hoping to awaken her feminine side. After failing to connect emotionally, they share ice cream, which allows her feminine spirit to detach. The two then fight for dominance over her body, debating whether she should inherit the family dojo or live as a woman. Keima intervenes, suggesting she can embrace both traits, comparing the choice to a cat being both cute and strong. The feminine side admits to enjoying the date and kisses Keima before being captured by Elsie. Kusunoki accepts her femininity while continuing her martial arts training. Later, Elsie attempts to explain evil spirit powers to Keima but is accidentally sucked into a capturing bottle belonging to her friend, spirit hunter Haqua du Lot Herminium.
