Strange thefts of food and alcohol plague SV2, escalating when two chickens vanish, sparking accusations among mechanics. Night patrols catch a suspect fleeing the tomato greenhouse, but he vanishes into a newly found manhole. This reveals an old, abandoned tunnel maze beneath the landfill, originally used for material transport. The thief utilizes these passages for escape. Ohta and Shinshi descend to investigate but lose contact after hours. Division 2 follows but struggles with disorientation, swarms of cats and rats, and a mysterious entity lurking in the water below.
