Shinohara Heavy Industries finishes a new prototype of the Economy Ingram, sending Noa, Gomika, and Ohta to test it and report to engineers. Noa rates the model as average, prompting Ohta to accuse her of bias due to her apparent affection for the Ingram. While the prototype shows some improvements, it still requires refinement. Project head Jitsuyama implements the suggested changes, which the team immediately notices, although Noa remains skeptical. Shinohara Heavy Industries is satisfied with the outcome and, feeling confident, proposes a mock battle between the prototype Labor and the Ingram. Noa is selected to fight the new Economy Ingram, a decision that disappoints Ohta.
