Tanjiro and Inosuke clash violently, revealing Inosuke’s human appearance after a headbutt. Following the burial of victims, a Kasugai crow guides the group to a wisteria-crested manor for recovery. There, they receive care for their injuries, including broken ribs. Inosuke reveals he joined the Demon Corps after hearing about the Final Selection from a defeated Slayer. When Zenitsu questions Tanjiro traveling with a demon, Nezuko emerges from her box, stunning Zenitsu with her beauty. He mistakenly assumes Tanjiro joined the slayers solely to possess a cute demon companion, leading to a chaotic chase. Inosuke, overwhelmed by the drama, falls asleep while the others recover.
