Kurumi recalls meeting Kazehaya in middle school and falling for him. School rumors circulate about her rejection by Pin. Wanting to clear up misunderstandings with Kazehaya, she confesses her feelings. He apologizes, revealing he loves someone else. Kurumi dismisses this as his loss, claiming he has poor taste. Sawako tells Yano and Chizu about her love for Kazehaya. She later asks Kurumi to be friends, but Kurumi declares herself Sawako’s rival instead. At the after-festival party, Sawako wonders when she fell in love with Kazehaya. She eventually falls asleep on his shoulder during the event.
