Ep. 18: Chizuru's romantic feelings for Ryuu's older brother are revealed to Sawako

Sawako enjoys her improving bonds with friends and Kazehaya, while Ayane complains about her clingy boyfriend. Chizuru is cheerful, anticipating an event over a month away at New Year's. Sawako and Chizuru shop for Ryuu's birthday gift, leading Sawako to believe Chizuru loves Ryuu due to her affection. However, Sawako discovers Chizuru actually loves Ryuu's older brother. Later, Ayane dumps her boyfriend, causing talk of broken hearts. Ryuu leaves the room and receives encouragement from Kazehaya. At Chizuru's house, Ryuu unexpectedly enters her room and appears ready to confess. Chizuru notices his gift left out, forcing him to leave. He departs into the rain, heading home alone.
