Hajime deduces Akanuma was fabricated by the killer and Saruhiko, with Seimaru’s body disguised as him. He reveals Ryunosuske is Shino’s son, not Seimaru. Shino confesses to switching babies with Ayako at the hospital to raise her child as a Tatsumi, motivated by resentment toward Ayako’s wealth. She admits killing Seimaru due to seeing Ayako in him and despising Saruhiko’s greed. Ryunosuske, equally ruthless, had poisoned Shino’s tea. Hayato reveals he faked mental disability after Ryunosuke attempted to poison him years ago. As Shino dies, she claims she poisoned herself to protect her biological son, Ryunosuske.
