An arrow strikes Arisa Kure, prompting Akechi to discover a score in conductor Takehiko Natsuoka's room. Natsuoka claims he took it from the deceased Michael Henry. Hajime accuses Kure of murder, citing the word "kle" found in the victim's hand, and suggests she faked the arrow attack while implicating Tsubaki for hiding the bow. Tsubaki attempts to take the blame, revealing Kure is Shuichiro Mido's daughter. Kure confesses to killing Michael Henry and Yurie Kazekura, explaining that Kazekura witnessed the accidental death and attempted blackmail. She tries to jump off a cliff, but Hajime and Tsubaki intervene, assuring her of her father's love. Kure is subsequently arrested for the murders of Michael Henry and Yurie Kazekura.
