Sebastian suffers torture at Angela’s hands within the Tower of London. Ciel independently pursues Stanley’s case, gaining the support of Scotland Yard inspector Fred Abberline. Ciel summons Sebastian via their contract to free him, and they board Lau’s junk. A duel ensues between Sebastian and Ran-Mao while Ciel confronts Lau, who attacks with a dao. Abberline intercepts the fatal blow, dying before Ciel’s eyes. Sebastian strikes Lau to halt the fight, allowing him and his master to escape the sinking vessel.
