Kurozuka

A manga adaptation based on a supernatural romance novel, it centers on Minamoto no Yoshitsune, known as Kurou, who, after being defeated by his brother, the first Shogun of Japan, escapes into the mountains. Instead of dying as history suggests, he encounters Kuromitsu, a mysterious and attractive woman living in seclusion. Kurou becomes enamored with her, but soon discovers she hides a dark truth. He learns he cannot die and remains alive for a thousand years as Japan transforms into a futuristic society.
