Ep. 11: Akihito learns Mirai's fate and enters the black sphere to save her

After waking from a three-month coma, Akihito discovers that his separation from the Beyond the Boundary cost Mirai her life and stripped him of his immortality. Frustrated, he confronts Izumi, who explains how she used Mirai's cursed blood to defeat the entity, noting that Mirai revealed a salvation method before refusing to kill Akihito. Akihito reads Mirai's final email, where she expresses gratitude for gaining self-acceptance through their meeting. Meanwhile, Miroku deduces the weakened Beyond the Boundary retreated into another dimension while draining real-world energy. He uses his spear to inject massive energy into the entity, exposing a black sphere above the city that absorbs all local youmu. In the Literary Club, Yayoi confirms Mirai's survival and gives Akihito a stone shard to restore some powers. Ignoring Izumi's warnings, Akihito merges with Mirai's puppet self to enter the sphere, arriving just in time to catch Mirai during her battle with the Beyond the Boundary.
