Ep. 12: Mirai and Akihito confront the Beyond the Boundary while Izumi faces Miroku's secrets.

Izumi questions Yayoi about half-youmu, prompting Yayoi to flee after warning of Society activity. Akihito defends against Beyond the Boundary attacks with his powers, leading him and Mirai to its core. Meanwhile, Shizuku, Sakura, Hiroomi, Mitsuki, and Izumi confront Miroku, who traps Izumi and himself in a barrier. Inside the Mirror World, Mirai impales the core with her sword. Hiroomi enters the barrier, discovering Miroku and Izumi contain youmu, and that Izumi is not who she claims. Izumi impales Miroku, causing his self-destruction. Akihito and Mirai overcome dark memories and battle a youmu army. Akihito defeats the Beyond the Boundary, reabsorbing it. The Mirror World and Mirai vanish, leaving Akihito grieving. Later, the world normalizes, the incident is covered up, and Hiroomi leads the Nase clan. Akihito runs to the school roof as Mirai's ring disappears, reuniting with her. He declares his feelings and returns her red rimmed glasses.
