Ep. 18: Haruka learns the truth about her family and reconciles with Kanata
Rain falls as Haruka confronts Kanata regarding a childhood lie about egg allergies. Kudryavka reveals to Riki that Kanata feigns coldness. Kanata explains she lied to protect Haruka from their family's violence. Haruka struggles with her resentment but, urged by Riki, seeks the truth. Kanata admits the Futaki family abused her when she showed kindness to Haruka, forcing her to be harsh to ensure Haruka's survival and her own succession. Haruka apologizes for her assumptions, and the sisters reconcile. Kanata decides to leave the family. They visit Shou, who reveals their parents attempted to take the children away, leading to his imprisonment. Haruka accepts she no longer needs to know her biological father's identity. Finally, the sisters visit their mother and other father.
