Ritsuka and Soubi encounter Sleepless, a duo dispatched by Septimal Moon, who delivers a letter from the Fighter school teacher containing details about Seimei's death. After defeating the attackers, Soubi hands the letter to Ritsuka. Ritsuka learns from Sleepless that Seimei was not only an attendee but also the top student at the school. Upon opening the letter, Ritsuka discovers only a sequence of letters and numbers. Unable to decipher the message, he suffers from insomnia as his thoughts remain fixated on Soubi.
