Ritsuka's teacher attempts to visit her home for a parent-teacher conference but encounters Natsuo and Youji, a fighting duo from Septimal Moon known as Zero. After she reveals her full name, the boys use it to seize control of her. Soubi intervenes to rescue her, engaging Natsuo and Youji in combat despite his power being reduced to a quarter of its normal strength because Ritsuka is not present. Struggling against his shackled opponent, Soubi recalls a lesson from Fighter school, realizing that Zero is an artificial pair incapable of feeling pain.
