The Septimal Moon dispatches a new Zero pair, consisting of Kouya, identified as the Fighter, and Yamato, the Sacrifice, with the intent to punish Soubi. This punishment stems from Soubi’s failure to summon his Sacrifice to battle and Ritsuka’s explicit order forbidding Soubi from fighting without him present. Consequently, Soubi refuses to defend himself and is defeated. Concerned when Soubi does not answer his calls, Ritsuka searches for him and discovers Soubi by a river, severely wounded. Upon finding him, Soubi loses consciousness, leaving Ritsuka to deal with the aftermath of the encounter.
