During his senior year, Outani has no memory of kissing Lisa. This amnesia allows Lisa to become excited by the arrival of Maitake Kuniumi, a teacher she considers the ideal lover. As Outani begins to recall the night of the kiss, he claims it was merely an accident caused by a high fever while attempting to remove a grain of rice from Lisa's hair. Enraged by this explanation, Lisa steals a kiss from Outani to test his feelings. However, Outani remains completely unresponsive. Realizing that Outani does not view her as a romantic interest, Lisa runs away, declaring that she will stop loving Outani.
