Kaito and Aoko board a train carrying the Queen of Ingram, her son Prince Philip, and the Principality of Ingram's Crystal Mother jewel. Kaito had previously announced his intent to steal the gem. Upon discovering the Queen carries a replica, he searches for the real stone. He deduces the true jewel is the ice in his drink after the Queen distracts Detective Nakamori with an all-night drinking session. Kaito steals the jewel but is confronted on the roof by Philip and a man in black. Realizing the aurora stone is absent, he shifts focus to rescuing the Prince. The episode concludes with Kaito revealing the Queen’s caring nature and leaving the Crystal Mother in Aoko’s glass.
