Inspector Nakamori spots Kaito Kid’s face during a theft and suspects Kaito Kuroba. Aoko dismisses the idea, noting Kaito is taking her on a date when the Phantom Thief targets crown jewels. She forces him to Tropical Land, where she handcuffs him inside a 40-minute 3D movie. Kaito uses a dummy to stay behind while he rushes to steal the jewels. He discovers Inspector Nakamori hiding under the crown, having avoided the gas used on others. Kaito disguises himself as Aoko to explain his presence, proving his mastery of disguise to evade suspicion. With assistance from the Dragon Coaster, he returns before the movie ends, temporarily clearing his name.
