Sorceress Akako Koizumi arrives in town intending to capture all men's hearts, yet her magic mirror indicates that Kid the Phantom Thief remains unaffected. On Valentine's Day, Kaito enjoys his first holiday outside the hospital while receiving chocolates from admirers. When he requests chocolate from Akako, she demands he refuse all other gifts, leading her to suspect his true identity. Kaito discovers that real sorcerers exist and is summoned by Akako’s red magic during a heist. Just as Kid seems destined to become her puppet, falling snow breaks her spell. He explains that his illusions are meant for entertainment rather than deception. Before Akako can weep and lose her powers, she flees, vowing to eventually make Kid her lover.
