Godai is tricked by a drinking buddy into caring for a cat named Kyoko. Other tenants discover the animal and call out its name, causing Manager Kyoko to believe she is required. Godai updates his friend on the cat's progress, but Mrs. Ichinose misinterprets the situation, assuming the cat sharing Godai's bed implies Manager Kyoko is sleeping with him. After Mrs. Ichinose confronts Kyoko, she demands an explanation until finding cat food and realizing the pet is missing. The group eventually locates Kyoko the cat sleeping in Soichiro's dog house alongside him.
