With finals approaching, Godai falls behind due to his hospitalization, prompting Sakamoto to share notes and test answers. Kyoko ensures the other tenants remain quiet and avoids loud parties to help him study, while also showing increased affection by preparing his meals. She promises to wake him for his last exam, but the tenants party in her room, leaving her exhausted. Upon waking, she discovers the test starts in thirty minutes. They rush to school in a taxi to plead with the professor, but Godai is denied entry. As he accepts he must repeat the year, Kyoko declares she will wait for him. Sakamoto then arrives, revealing the schedule was incorrect and the test begins shortly. A furious Kyoko leaves without a word.
