Asuna Kujo, daughter of a wealthy family, meets Mitaka and is charmed by her old-fashioned demureness. The meeting turns sour when Mitaka interacts with her dogs, yet Asuna decides she wants to marry him because they liked him. Mitaka confronts Kyoko, insisting she give a clear answer about their relationship within a week. Meanwhile, a private detective snoops around the Ikokku and is forced to buy everyone drinks. Additionally, Godai takes on part-time work as a day-care worker in a kindergarten.
