Ep. 58: Kyoko waits for Godai while Asuna stops Mitaka from arriving

Kyoko repeatedly encounters Asuna and her dogs, who attempt to persuade her to end her engagement with Mitaka but remain too reserved to speak directly. The day before she must answer his proposal, Kyoko asks Godai to return home early before his work shift, hoping he will tell her not to marry. However, Sakamoto intercepts Godai after work, reminding him of a mandatory class party. Consequently, both men fail to return to Ikkoku-kan until dawn. Having waited up all night for Godai, Kyoko falls asleep while waiting to meet Mitaka later that day. Asuna discovers her sleeping and, along with her dogs, prevents Mitaka from appearing.
