Ran identifies Yabe as the person who fled the scene after Funaki’s death, though Kogoro’s arrest fails to break his denial. Conan and Dr. Agasa uncover that Kouhei Moritsugu and Youichi Tezukadi died in a bus accident seven years ago. Realizing the bus has departed, Conan and Kuni pursue it. Conan boards and exposes the guide, Touko Natsume, as Natsume Moritsugu, Kouhei’s daughter. She tampered with the brakes to kill those who ignored her father’s death, sparing Kinu for her apology. Okumura is cleared as he was ill. Conan halts the crashing bus with his suspenders, leading to Natsume’s arrest and passenger apologies.
