A serial arsonist ignites massive fires throughout the city, prompting Takagi and Miwako to join forces with the Junior Detective League to solve the crimes. This investigation coincides with a critical deadline: the day the case regarding Miwako's father's death will be annulled, allowing the bank robber to retain the stolen funds. Miwako resolves to resolve both the arson incidents and her father's case before the day concludes. However, her efforts are complicated when Takagi is attacked by the arsonist, adding urgency to their race against time to uncover the truth and prevent further destruction.
