The investigation into the murder narrows down to three suspects who recently arrived at a nearby inn. Conan successfully deduces the identity of the culprit and the motive behind the crime. He confronts the suspect at the location where the murder took place, but a shocking revelation awaits him, Ran, and Sonoko. The culprit is revealed to be a yakuza lieutenant accompanied by a large group of henchmen, making it impossible for Ran to handle the situation alone. Just in time, Makoto arrives to assist. He and Ran fight off the attackers until the police arrive to take control of the scene and arrest the criminals.
