Robbers bind remaining customers, including Akai, with duct tape inside the bank. The leader instructs the manager to follow secret note instructions rather than loading money into briefcases. The gang proceeds to tape up individuals who arrived alone. Meanwhile, the Detective Boys execute a plan where Conan uses a cellphone to mimic the voice of an unconscious Jodie, luring one robber into a trap. After apprehending the suspect, Conan observes that the individual has removed his disguise and coat, revealing something unusual about his identity.
