Ep. 89: Richard reviews events before Stefan's murder while Conan uncovers the killer's ladder and tape trick.

Richard examines the timeline preceding Stefan's death as Conan discovers a ladder and cellophane tape on the curtain rack. Conan reveals to Richard that the murderer used a ladder as a bridge, a fruit cutter, and a twig-rigged window to steal a stake from the memorabilia room. The killer did not cross the rooftop corridor but walked down it to murder Stefan, then used a film projector to lock the study door. The culprit is Jonathan Tradonio, who manipulated the door handle with tape pulled by the projector. Jonathan falsely claimed to hear the projector before the body was found, despite the soundproof door. He confesses that Stefan ordered doctors to stabilize his sister Joella, whose condition worsened and led to her death. Richard mentions his next client involves Frankenstein.
