Seven years ago in Haido City, young Yuri Miona saw masked robbers kill a worker. Now, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan visit Hatobue Lodge near Nishiokuho Station for its beer selection. Police report a drowned body identified as Kitamoto Shujiro, also known as Kyujiro, a comedian and beer prince. Suspicions fall on his partner Minakitaya Otaro, who is subsequently found dead in a locked room. A Masked Comet symbol appears beside the victim, suggesting a dying message. The investigation links these events to the incident Yuri witnessed decades prior, raising questions about the identity of the masked figures and the motive behind the murders.
