Ep. 913: Takatori kidnaps Conan after a jewelry heist goes wrong and he escapes police custody.

Police confront Takatori Iwao and his accomplice Utsumi Tokuro for robbing a Beika City jewelry store of 300 million yen in jewels. During Conan’s deduction, Takatori shoots the ceiling, causing crates to fall. Conan collides with Takatori, losing his phone, badge, and watch, before being kidnapped. Conan escapes into the Kitahinode Shopping Center but is recaptured because all stores are closed and no public phone exists. Takatori drives to an abandoned factory and forces Conan into a chimney. Meanwhile, jewelry store buyer Yamaga Setsuo, who leaked information to the robbers, escapes police investigation. Inside the chimney, Conan discovers Utsumi’s corpse and the stolen jewels. Takatori explains that Utsumi betrayed him and fell to his death. Takatori then throws Conan out of the moving car.
