Miyamoto Yumi and Miike Naeko drive their patrol car, hoping for a major case. They encounter the Detective Boys pursuing Genta, who was abducted by two men. The boys join the police vehicle to chase the abductors. Conan uses his detective badge to overhear the kidnappers discussing diamonds, leading the group to suspect jewel theft. Conan deduces the destination and rescues Genta. It is revealed that the kidnappers belong to an organization illegally smuggling protected whitebait eels overseas, contradicting the initial assumption about stolen gems.
