Ep. 922: Detective Boys encounter counterfeit bills and face kidnapping by a mafia group during a film shoot.

The Detective Boys observe the Kaimen Yaiba filming and spot Tatsumi Masaya before being kidnapped alongside others. Two hours earlier, they helped Nakama Toshie retrieve a ten thousand yen bill stained by Genta’s dumplings. Conan and Haibara identify the bills as counterfeit due to identical serial numbers. While the group stakes out a park, Bella Hikifune, a Mafia member, collects a bill from a vending machine. The children follow her but are captured and placed in a shipping container filled with fake currency. At the harbor, the Mafia attempts to sink the container. Haibara instructs the boys to release the bills through door gaps so they float for police retrieval. She retains evidence of the crime and is subsequently arrested.
