Ep. 957: Investigation into the Murder of Eiji Kadowaki and the Kadowaki Family Fire

The body of Eiji Kadowaki, who suffered a cracked head, is discovered in Yonehana Park. Eiji was known as a problem child who violently attacked his mother, Yasuko, leading to rumors that his brother Yuichi intervened. Inspector Megui suspects Yuichi of the crime but notes he has an alibi. A suspicious man is identified as Takase, a former elementary school teacher and student of Yasuko. Megui informs Takase of the murder and requests his alibi. Takase claims he spent three hours eating and drinking at an izakaya. Subsequently, a fire breaks out at the Kadowaki residence. Yuichi manages to escape, while Yasuko is found dead.
