Conan and Amuro deduce the culprit's trick, revealing that Morooka san is Yuri san's father. His fluctuating weight and frequent trips are excuses to tailor suits and buy new ones to visit her. Amuro relates this to his own past attempts to see Elena san. Yuri san recovers in the hospital. Later, Amuro uses a duplicated key to enter the Kudo house. Akai removes his Subaru disguise, and they point guns at each other. Akai admits he anticipated Amuro's investigation into Kudo Shinichi. The standoff ends when Kudo Yusaku and Yukiko appear, inviting Amuro for tea.
