Ep. 22: Aru reveals his true nature to Yuki while Yuno manipulates events to eliminate rivals.

Deus informs Aru he is an observer entity, challenging him to prove free will by altering Kamado’s diary. Aru succeeds, prompting Yuno to question Yuki’s resolve. At Aru’s apartment, Yuno fights Aru while Yuki pursues Kamado. Hinata reveals that divine power resurrects bodies but not souls. Yuno stabs herself, creating conflicting predictions in Aru’s diary. She lies to Yuki, claiming Aru attacked her. Driven by fear, Yuki kills Hinata, Mao, and Kousaka, believing he can revive them later. Aru warns Yuki that Yuno intends to kill him to win. Yuno arrives, and Aru kisses Yuki to distract her. Aru destroys Yuno’s diary, but she reveals a second one and slits his throat. As Yuno kills Kamado, a dying Aru realizes the truth about Yuno and shows a final message to Yuki before Deus collapses.
