However, her overwhelming vanity causes her to become entirely self-absorbed. She fails to acknowledge her friends or pay attention to the events unfolding around her. Her narcissism blinds her to the competition and the social dynamics of the gathering, leaving her isolated in her own reflection despite being the center of attention for the contest.
