Ep. 10: Lan Wangji saves Wei Wuxian, leading to Jiang family conflict and Wen sect demands at Lotus Pier.

Lan Wangji rescues Wei Wuxian from the water and plays a special song to keep him conscious, but Wei Wuxian loses consciousness. He awakens in his room after Jiang Cheng saves him, learning that the Lan sect leader died and the Wen sect claimed credit for killing the beast. Jiang Fengmian and Yu Ziyuan visit, sparking an argument about unfair treatment of Jiang Cheng. After the parents leave, Jiang Cheng expresses frustration over his status, prompting Wei Wuxian to promise support as a subordinate, easing their tension. Meanwhile, the Wen sect plans to establish Supervisory Offices across all clans. Wang Lingjiao arrives at Yunmeng to demand Wei Wuxian be whipped with Zidian. Unable to stop her, Wei Wuxian endures the punishment to protect the Jiang. Wang Lingjiao then orders Yu Ziyuan to sever Wei Wuxian’s hand, but Yu Ziyuan strikes her when Wang Lingjiao claims authority over Lotus Pier.
