Ep. 3: Jiang Cheng confronts Wei Wuxian while the group tracks a rogue arm to Qinghe
Jiang Cheng battles Wen Ning, who escapes, before doubting Mo Xuanyu and departing with Jin Ling. Wei Wuxian dismantles a resentful energy array that Lan Wangji cannot handle, leading the group to discover corpses marked by Shuanghua sword. Lan Wangji identifies the weapon as belonging to Xiao Xingchen. When a severed arm escapes the Cloud Recesses, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji use the Compass of Evil to track it to Qinghe, where Jiang Cheng also travels. In Qinghe, Wei Wuxian argues with a merchant selling Yiling Patriarch portraits, prompting Jin Ling to kick the seller and summon his dog, Fairy. Wei Wuxian flees to Lan Wangji, frightened by the animal. Jin Ling and Fairy proceed to Xinglu Ridge, while Wei Wuxian recalls being taken in by Jiang Fengmian after hearing the dog bark.
